Head (Department of Employment Services)

       

Duties

 1.      To take up the leadership role in employment services of the School of Vocational Training and to formulate and implement strategies

          and an overall plan to better develop and improve our employment services to students;

2.      To lead and supervise the department in the provision of soft skills training and placement services for ERB courses;

¡@

3.      To lead and supervise the department in developing employers¡¦ network, grasping market information and seeking job opportunities for

         graduate students;

¡@

4.      To oversee different service projects such as YETP, Smart Living Scheme & Smart Starter Scheme etc. to meet and attain all service

         requirements and targets;

¡@

5.      To develop and strengthen partnership with different stakeholders including funding bodies, employers, trade associations and

         professional bodies etc. for business development and brand building.

 

 Requirements

1.      Bachelor¡¦s degree or above;

¡@

2.      At least 8 years¡¦ relevant working experience, with at least 5 years at managerial level;

¡@

3.      Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Chinese;

¡@

4.      Proficiency skill in MS office applications

¡@

5.      Be mature; possess leadership qualities & strategic mindset, highly motivated and creative, with sound administrative and interpersonal skills

         and able to work under pressure;

¡@

6.      Hands on experience in ERB courses and project management would definitely be an advantage;

¡@

7.      Candidate with less experience may be considered as Associate Head.
