Assistant Lecturer / Lecturer (Social Work / Public and Social Services)

 

Duties:

u  To perform teaching duties;

u  To devise and revise teaching materials and assessments;

u  To grade student work and attend meetings;

u  To organize students and staff activities; and

u  To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Requirements

u   For Lecturers, candidates should have postgraduate qualification in the relevant disciplines with concrete teaching experience as appropriate;

u   For Assistant Lecturers, candidates should have postgraduate qualification in the relevant disciplines;

u   For Social Work teaching, minimum of 5 years’ Social Work relevant post-qualification working experiences, with experience in

   post-secondary education will be an advantage; Applicants should be a Registered Social Worker;

u   Appointees should also possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
